MWC2015 world mobile communications exhibition is opened in spain . Various manufacturers have released new products : Samsung  has pushed new flagship phone Galaxy S6 and Huawei has  launched Android wear smart watches , which are lively and in a complete mess .

Mobile phone manufacturers are lively and chip manufacturers have not been idle . Lianfake before the show formally announced the new processor brand Hello and heavy weight product counter attacked  high end .Samsung Exnyos 7420 came on the stage , running points and broking table . Huaweis glory X2 was equipped with a legend Kirin 930 and  Qualcomm released a new architecture of snapdragon 820 . Mobile phones which are equipped with snapdragon 810 have appeared . Intel sofias plans are implemented . Smart phone chip renames X3 and enters the low end .

After 2012 , Qualcomm rose , occupying most of the profits in the industry and holding the king throne for many years . Now the curtain of war is drawn , who will occupy a leading position as the king in the world  ?Where are the victory and defeat hands ?

This round of tide of Android smart-phones started from around 2010. Chip manufacturers have  behaved in the way of I come to you and you come to me and have changed for several rounds . We can summarize some rules of the market in the coming and going . 

 1. To do the mobile phone core , we have to do with the integration of the baseband and application processors , even if we can not achieve the integration we also have our own full program .

 Even if you do no have to do the integration of the whole set of the program, otherwise it can not be popularized , no matter how strong performance it has .

 Actually , early smart phone chip maker , T1, nVIDIA has no baseband . Samsung has not either . Having no baseband means mobile phone development has difficulty , poor stablility and high requirement for mobile phone manufacturers strength . When Qualcomm with baseband joined the war , although its early chip performance has no advantage , it depends on integrated baseband whose development is simple . Qualcomm has quickly become a king . Latter MTK, which  also has the baseband , is rapidly rising to become the second . This trend is counter attacking , but T1 draws out of the mobile phone chip industry . nVIDIA graphics performance is invincible , but it is unpopular . Samsung performance is excellent , but can only entertain itself . Intel can provide a full range of program , but cannot provide the integration of SOC . It is also marginalized . In 2015 , Qualcomms high performance is not dominant , but the author like him to hold the throne continuously , because   Qualcomm has  baseband advantage .

2.What people competes in high end market is performance and what people competes in low end market is price . The low program and price is really low , and there is a market for it .

 Now  there is over-capacity in the performance of the smart phone  . The low-end chip also has  a good experience. In case that experience does not pull the gap , what is competing is the price . This price is the price of the overall program, rather than the chip price . In this regard , the first being successful is MTK. Early in the function machine age MTK knew to provide customers with a complete set of hardware and software scheme , so called hand in turkey , let the customer at low cost  develop the mobile phone , but also result in the cottage machine wave .   

 In the age of intelligent machines , MTK also has done very well , considering the cost of peripheral accessories .It allows users to make cheap mobile phone to compete . It was relied on this that MTK started late and still became the second in the industry . And an example is Intel. In order to enter the mobile market , Intel provided the cost price of the chip, but the reflection was still not good . The reason was that Intel did not solve the problem of peripheral components well to control the total cost . So Intel found the master in the field , Rockchip Electronics . Rockchip is an expert in cutting down cost . It can guarantee chips normal work with cheap peripheral components and simple electrical circuit design . Intel in the table market gains a firm foothold and begins to counter attack intelligent mobile phone .

 3. Process determines the competitiveness . Technology is homogenized . Competition is transformed to the competition for process resources . With the acceleration of the intelligent mobile phone chip , people find it more and more difficult to engage in a set of non-public version core . Because Apple has IOS software barriers , it can design its own core . No one shows any interest in nVIDIA s core which is as powerful as that of Denver core .

 Therefore, judging from the situation in year 2015, the victory and defeat hands of mobile phone  are the degree of integration , the total cost control and process resource .
