Ethernet is the most widely used standard of communication agreement adopted  by local area network at present. It was built up in the early 70s.Ethernet is a norm of LAN  whose transmission speed is 10 Mbps. In the Ethernet, all the computers are connected to  a coaxial cable   , the method of multiaccess by collsion detection and carrier sensing ,besides, competion mechanism and bus topology structure is applied. Ethernet consists of shared media, twisted-pair cable or coaxial cable, multi-port hub,network bridge and switch board. In the star structure or the bus configuration structure, the multi-port hub , switch board or network bridge make computers ,printers and working stand connect with one another .

       One product called soft Ap is very common in the wireless products market. Soft AP is the abbreviation of Soft-AP. Its hardware part is a standard wireless adapter. However,siignal switching and routing function is offered by its driving

program. Compared with traditional AP , its cost is very low and function is OK.

   We make a brief introduction of soft AP not to totally repudiate or eulogize it. As a new concept product, its existance has its own reasonablity. Although common wireless card has the same functions ,but it can not be denied that soft AP has covenience of its own.Tradional network manufactures is not optimistic about the soft AP ,though, it does not mean that they want to srike it down at one stroke. As a mature consumer, we should be more reasonble.

    In a word, the product of soft AP provides the naive users and the users pay more attention to the price with an alternative. It is quite necessary that the soft AP do more hard work in the substitute seats if it want to receive warm welcome by the consumers.
