Integrated circuits are classified as national strategic emerging development plan

               Integrated circuit has been listed as a national strategic emerging development planning . Recently , the state council issued the "Twelfth Five Years " development plan for national strategic emerging industries . High performance integrated circuit project was listed as one of twenty major projects . The plan clearly puts forward that in the future , the country will focus on the development of mobile internet , mixed analog digital , information security , digital TV , radio frequency identification and the sensor chip etc . Advanced packaging technology and chip design raise advanced packaging processing and testing level , strengthen the developing ability of key equipment , instrument and material , support the scale application of large production line and strive to make the market share of IC design industry in China increase from 5% to 15%.

                 The plan highlights the countrys confidence in vigorously developing the integrated circuit industry . At present , Chinas competitiveness in global integrated circuit industry market is weak . China has a high degree of dependence on foreign products . In fact , in China the products which have the highest amount of imports are not oil , iron ore , but the integrated circuit . In year 2010 , China imported 156.99 billion dollars of integrated circuits .
